Day 1
a) North Shore Excursion – Land of Anne Tour

View rolling farmlands, stunning seascapes, tiny villages and bustling harbours. During this tour, you will become familiar with the North Shore of Prince Edward Island, visiting Rustico, one of the many Island fishing villages and get a feel for the laid-back Island way of life. Green Gables House, this old farm site inspired L.M. Montgomery’s first novel, “Anne of Green Gables”, published in 1908. Visit Green Gables Museum and enjoy the beautiful grounds overlooking the Lake of Shinning Waters. The Island Preserve Company, located in one of Canada’s prettiest villages, uses locally grown produce to manufacture high quality specialty foods. The company’s main site is a restored 1913 butter factory. Cavendish Beach boasts miles of white sand beaches and presents a coastline of fragile beauty. Dalvay by the Sea, famous as the” White Sands Hotel” on the TV show “Road to Avonlea”, will host lunch for our guests. Dalvay is well known for memorable cuisine, ambience and personal service. Brackley Beach, a must see for the breathtaking views of the blue sea, white sands and red cliffs. This world class beach is part of the PEI National Park.

b) Historic Walking Tour of Charlottetown.
Experience the history and culture of Charlottetown as you enjoy a walking tour of the city with one of our Fathers of Confederation. The tour will lead you to Founder’s Hall, a 21,000sq. Ft. heritage attraction and will literally transport visitors through a Time Travel Tunnel back to The Charlottetown Conference in 1864. Lunch for our group will be served at the Atlantic Tourism & Hospitality Institute, where guests will get to watch, and maybe even assist, the chef at preparing a fabulous meal focusing on local ingredients. A meal to remember!!

Day 2
a) South Shore Tour

Travel along the scenic Blue Heron Drive passing through the heart of the South Shore, famous for its rolling hills, red cliffs and winding rivers. Stops will include a photo opportunity at Seven Mile Bay, with a spectacular view of the World Famous Confederation Bridge, a 13 kilometer link to Prince Edward Island from New Brunswick. In Summerside, the island’s second city, enjoy the stately homes that grace the downtown residential core and a revitalized waterfront. At Victoria by the Sea, you have time to browse the shops and stop as a group for lunch. Then visit Gateway Village, which houses several shops and exhibits. There will be opportunities for antique hunting throughout the day.

b) Day of Golf
Enjoy a round of golf at Fox Meadow Golf Resort, overlooking Charlottetown Harbour. Package includes round of golf, cart rental, lunch and refreshments. A perfect way to spend a leisurely day!!
